Personal Training Austin, TX at John's Gym Final Weeks

Done! Well kinda. I'm done w/ the John's Gym 90 Day Challenge, but I've continued working out. Being more fit truly changes your life! Thanks to Travis, I've seen an amazing change in not only my physique, but in every element of my life. Now it's a routine, it's part of my day like eating bad used to be. I used to go out to eat everyday and eat badly, now it's more natural to eat healthy w/ a few cheat days in between.

There is no way I could have done this w/o Travis and w/o the motivation of hopefully inspiring John's Gym members to go after their physical goals. When I wanted to grab a slice of pizza or something as simple as Chick fil-a, I'd stop myself, b/c I wanted to be able to say to those wanting to change their life that it truly can be done.

There are MANY members at John's Gym that inspire me, I hope I've inspired some of you through this challenge!

Personal Training Austin, TX at John's Gym weeks 9-10

This month is the last month of the 90 Day John's Gym Challenge and I feel great. The third month is the month where the most changes happen to your body, the weight starts peeling off and you see dramatic changes quickly. We've switched up our workout program to keep shocking our body into new techniques so our body doesn't get stagnant w/ the same ol' same ol'. I feel so good on this program that I'll most definitely continue personal training after the 90 days.

Personal Training Austin, TX at John's Gym weeks 7-8

It's the little things w/ this Personal Training program, like seeing my Adams Apple for the first time since elementary school or High School. It's seeing the new definition in my arms, abs, and legs. The meal plan is much easier too! It's to the point where I don't even want to eat as much as they have planned out, I'm not as hungry as I used to be when I ate whatever I want. It's awesome! Right now we have a special with Jasmine, John's Gym Certified Personal Trainer, for 3 one hour sessions for only $99!!

Personal Training Austin, TX at John's Gym weeks 5-6

We've switched up my personal training routine. Travis, my personal trainer, is working towards some Ronnie Coleman competition (google him, it's ridiculous, I think I saw muscles on that dudes forehead). So, we're lifting heavier with less reps to build muscle quicker. So this last week, we worked out shoulders for the whole week. Week 7 we're doing just back and so on and so forth. It's tough, but I can see the results quicker now.

Personal Training Austin, TX FIRST MONTH DOWN!

I've heard it takes 30 days to break a habit and create a new one. The final week of this eating plan I'm on was tough. By Wednesday I'd have cravings of sushi, Iced hazelnut Lattes at McDonalds and their chocolate chip cookies, as well as simple things in life like more chocolate chip cookies.
I'm noticing a difference though, I've dropped 10 pounds of fat, and have gained muscle. I feel stronger, have more energy, and am losing that dreaded tire around my stomach.

Two Weeks Down - Personal Training at John's Gym

You're not in shape until you get with a Personal Trainer! I've played basketball in High School and College, and done Brazilian Jiu Jitsu for over a year and a half. I thought Jiu Jitsu was the hardest thing I've done, personal training takes the cake. Speaking of cake, that sounds good right now.
This week we started doing more explosion exercises followed by lifting heavy weights. The explosion exercises have kicked my butt, it's the little muscles you don't ever think about that are getting worked over.
Oh, I started with a Body Fat of 17%, so let's see where it goes after these 90 days!

One Week Down! - Personal Training at John's Gym

Who am I kidding, this personal training stuff is hard hard! Every workout gets tougher and tougher, but I love it. I love knowing that in 90 days I'll be more fit and feel better. I ate some delicious meals on my cheat day this week (French Toast at the Paggi House and Home Slice Pizza on S. Congress), but afterwards I felt horrible and wanted to sleep. I was actually eager to get on my eating routine come monday morning...even if the first thing to eat is 5 eggs.
However, one week is down! Only 11 more to go, I can definitely do this!
